Can we keep our existing phone number?

Yes. Numbers are ported to the new system, and your customers won't notice anything except that calls get answered more reliably.

What's the analogue phone switch-off I keep hearing about?

Openreach is retiring the UK's analogue phone network (the PSTN) on 31 January 2027, and new analogue lines haven't been sold since 2023. Anything still running on an analogue line, from phone systems to alarms and card terminals, needs a digital alternative before then. Moving to VoIP now means you choose the timing, not the deadline.

Will VoIP work for staff who work from home?

That's where it shines. Home workers use the same system, same number and same features as the office, through an app or a handset.

What about call quality?
